The blu30 is a modern daysailor for the hightest requirements optimized for short crew and
single handed sailing.
blu30 - Daysailor
The blu30 has been created on the drawing board of Christian Bolinger in collaboration with America's Cup sailor Christian Scherrer. The design brief described a modern daysailor optimized for short crew and single handed sailing.
She is a true semi custom yacht, leaving her owner the freedom to select for a variable draft with hydraulic keel and vario rudder system (2 - 1 meter draft), teak deck, carbon rigg and rigging, part avenue boom, electric motor, electro-hydraulic trim system and even a gennaker shoot system.
The hull is made of a sandwich construction using FRP and PVC foamcore, produced under vacuum bonding with epoxy resin system.
CLEAN UNBROKEN LINES AND EASY HANDLING
The clean unbroken lines dominate the deck of the blu30. As far as possible the sheets and halyards are led under deck to the two winches. By leading the sheets and halyards in this manner the cockpit stay free of ropes, allowing for easy and save short crew and single handed sailing.
